Eva Haller


Haller is a social, educational, and environmental activist and philanthropist in the United States and across the globe.

She works actively along with her husband, Yoel, to promote peace and social policies that effectively deal with today’s global challenges. She is a trustee of the University of California at Santa Barbara Foundation, the Rubin Museum of Asian Art, and Creative Visions Foundation. Eva serves as board chair of Free the Children USA, an organization dedicated to education and empowering communities to break the cycle of poverty, and board chair of Sing for Hope She is also on the board of Video Volunteers, and A Blade of Grass.

Eva is a recipient of the Mandela Award for Humanitarian Achievement, the Inaugural Mentoring Award at Forbes Women’s Summit, and a Lifetime Achievement Award at the United Nations Population Fund. Recently, she became a Visting Professor at Glasgow Caledonian University, where she was awarded the 2014 Magnusson Fellowship.
