The Urban Condition is the Human Condition

We are pleased to share Kim Samuel’s new article in the Huffington Post,‎ “The Urban Condition is the Human Condition“.

Building on the theme of environmental sustainability, Kim highlights the inter-relationship between two pressing global challenges – social isolation and rapid urbanization. She emphasizes the need for cities and stakeholders at every level to have the tools necessary to effectively measure their problems and progress, and to take collective action in order ‎to ensure healthy social and physical living environments for all.

As Kim concludes, “Only by joining as one human family can we make our cities places where every family can thrive. In the end, the urban condition is the human condition and we need to find a way to lift both”.
