KidSpirit is a nonprofit online community magazine created by and for youth. Designed as a safe space for youth to engage with one another and ponder life’s big questions in an open and inclusive manner, KidSpirit encourages youth to interact fully with the world around them.

With editions focusing on a theme each season, youth are encouraged to challenge themselves to think and interact in meaningful ways with not only one another, but with topical subjects that allow for passionate and engaging expression.

Recently, KidSpirit launched ‘The Belonging Project’, which is a new initiative that aims to ‘forge paths of  connection around equity and inclusion.’ The first cohort’s focus explores the stigma’s around mental health in various communities around the world. Through varying mediums including poetry, podcasting and visual art, the members of the Belonging Project ‘hope to combine their hearts to educate listeners and viewers, and give resources to those struggling with mental health.’
